The pictures are being believed to stem out of the Ubisoft Store along-with the title of the upcoming game and the glimpse of the image of the leading character from the game-Mirage.
The leak also seems to be associated with a DLC chapter from the game “The Forty Thieves Quest” While the details are still not very clear.
The character at the center of this image from Assassin’s creed Mirage also has a lot more in common with some of the original protagonists of this game series.
Because the character has white hooded robes and the hidden blade attached to his left wrist.
This leak is believed to be a legitimate glimpse as this has been stemmed from the publisher i.e. Ubisoft itself.
Also, this isn’t the first time that Ubisoft has leaked details of its own games prior to the formal reveals of its games.
Its past actions couple of years ago have been the same before the final launch of its games as well such as in the case of Assassin’s Creed Origins, Skull & Bones, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and numerous other titles. So this trend seems to continue this year again.
So, to be clear over all the formal details you will have to wait till 10th September‘22 when Ubisoft is planning to officially release the details in public at an event.

Early in the year, Ubisoft had announced that it would be terminating the online services of several older titles.
Early in the year, Ubisoft had announced that it would be terminating the online services of several older titles.
It goes well beyond Assassin’s creed games, as other iconic titles like Anno 2070 would have faced the same resulting in high discontentment amongst its fans.
The termination of all the servers would have stopped all the activities that could be done on these games and all the users losing their access to all the DLC content even if it was bought one.
The fans were unhappy and we’re unable to understand that why the access to their DLCs would be taken away.
But thankfully Ubisoft made its stand clear on this matter and made an important announcement.
The game developer of decided to delayed the shutdown date of its several multiplayer servers which were suppose to be down by 1st September but the date has been postponed to 1st October by the developer.
Ubisoft in its one of the update stated “Decommissioning online services for older games is something we do not take lightly, but it is also a necessity as the technology that drove those services becomes obsolete”, “Over the last month, our teams have been hard at work exploring what is possible to reduce disruption.”
The games which will continue seeing online services include:
- Assassin’s Creed II
- Assassin’s Creed III
- Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations
- Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD
- Driver San Francisco
- Far Cry 3
- Ghost Recon Future Soldier
- Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
- Rayman Legends
- Silent Hunter 5
- Splinter Cell: Blacklist
- ZombiU
However, Space Junkies is only to be an exception which will have its servers turned off on September 1 as planned.
Further, the team over at Ubisoft Mainz will push an update to Anno 2070 which will upgrade & replace its old servers so players can enjoy the online components.
Users can download all their entitled DLCs for games – Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed 3 (2012 release), Far Cry 3, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist and store them locally.
And all the DLCs will work as long as gamers activate them before 1 October, 2022.
