Britney Spears has teamed up with Elton John in her new song "Hold Me Closer"

But now she is free to oversee her own career, finances and other personal and private decisons.

Their duet is a mix of three of his hits: "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," "Tiny Dancer," and "The One."

The song has hit no. 1 on the U.S. & U.K. iTunes charts, in less than 24 hours since its release.

The fans get to hear a snippet of Spears's solo incl. her iconic "baby" from the 1998 hit "Baby One More Time." 

Hold Me Closer" is Spears's first official single since "Slumber Party" from her 2016 album "Glory,"
